Tilt: "Invisible" Lost tribe vocal mix (Hooj Choons)
This is an awesome track which I think is a re-work of "Tilt's" Rendezvous (Perfecto), originally remixed by Paul Van Dyk about 2 years ago now. It's always been a favourite of mine and play it out almost every set.
Tilt: "Children" Tilt's courtyard mix (Deconstruction Promo)
Another re-working of a great classic. I must admit it must have been quite a task to remix the original as well as this has been done. This is much more "Cream-like" and a lot more Euro sounding with great swirling breakdowns and more pounding bass.
Stone Roses: "Fool's Gold" Stone Roses vs Grooverider mix (Jive records)
I've been looking for this for ages now. Came out on a white label about 2 months ago. Its now out on "Jive". It sounds just like the original but has a nice drum'n'bass beat to it without getting too dark. Overall a very nice and simple remix. The "Rabbit on the moon" remix is a bit more housey but the grooverider is the best.
ATB: "Don't Stop" Signum remix (Kontor Records)
Another already classic club track. Already being remixed!!!!! Most of the mixes on this are rather poor but the Signum is almost better then the original. Pumping without loosing the original's melody and quite uplifting at the same time.
Friskiboy: "Human" (Whoop White)
Nice melodic trancy tune with a massive breakdown about half way through after which it really gets going. Being a white label I'm not sure which side is which despite them giving you names and versions, which is not very useful.
Entity: "Flip de Trax" (A.R.D)
Been out a few months now but I'm still giving it a lot of attention. Although it sounds quite an acidic piece, it has its VERY melodic moments.
Armin: "Lost Soul Society" (Cyber Records)
Another rather ambient trance track from Armin. Quite similar to "Blue fear" from about a year ago. The B side a rather more thumping but has not got a lot to it.
Veracocha: "Carte Blanche" (Deal)
Well we have all heard this. It's being canned by the likes of Jules and Scott Bond. A real slice of Euro trance. This actually sends shivers up my spine when I hear it. The B side is also good but goes on a bit too long, its more of a "filler" track.
DJ Lottie: "The Sound" (Duty Free)
All the respect to DJ Lottie. Went to see her a few times about 6 months ago and she really has talent. This massive disco-cut-up-funky-but-hard tune is quite a masterpiece I think. Both versions are great but "Part one" does it for me.
All tracks available now. See my links to order them online.
